This latest assignment was a tough one, it was not the process itself, it was just trying to figure out what to make. After deciding to use a tree as the main focus of the image, I used the paintbrush, blur, smudge, and sharpen tools to make changes to the pattern of the trees leaves. I also decided to cut the tree in half, and using the lasso tool to separate the two pieces and the paintbrush tool to fix the tree stump, I was able to pull the tree apart. I then took sections of the leaves and added around the city for extra foliage. I also had to isolate and change sections of both the tree and city and move them to different layers so that I could incorporate things like the cranes. I wasn't really sure about where I was going with this image, and I ended up adding in some smaller animals and butterflies, it sort of gave the image an eye-spy vibe. Even though I do not really know how to describe the end product, I am happy with it especially since I was able to work with realistic images and change their perspectives and hues. If I were to do this again, I would want to use a higher quality image as the centerpiece, and if I were to go with the same theme then I would want to add even more animals, and maybe do something extra with the tree.

These are all of the images that I used to make my collage:
